Iran Air Divisions:
Flight Operations
Iran Air Flight Operation division which includes the
cockpit and cabin
crew as well as ground personnel, is responsible for all the
practical and technical aspects of flying the aircraft on the airlines schedule
and non-schedule routes. Its functions include flight operations, flight and
cabin safety, adopting and implementing flight standards and regulation and crew
training as well as liaison with any external agencies in relation to
flight operations. Iran Air flight Operations division at its fully operational
time had a personnel of approximately 850, consisting of 150 captains, first
officers and flight engineers plus 700 flight purser, flight attendance and
ground personnel.
